Where, oh, where is this happening??? I just finished reading a Gipi book translated and republished by First Second Books. Great work. Wish I could see some of this in person. It looks like his style on the poster too.

Hey Ryan... Hrmm, I think I saw this at The Beat(?) and Heidi had all of the info up, you should check it out there. Gipi is so phenomental, he's just on another level, that poster is indeed his as well.

What book did you read? I have Garage Band and Notes For A War Story, but that's all I've seen... both excellent, but I'd like more!

Word. I just made my way through Garage Band after finding it in a CRAZY-GO-NUTZ, 75%-off, sale bin in IL this past weekend. I picked up a handful of First Second books like that! They're such a great imprint, I just can't understand why they'd be on close-out so quickly. It's really a shame that indie isn't selling in Champaign-Urbana shops. ...but I guess one man's loss is another's gain. *shrugs* Maybe it's just the Midwest. I dunno. I'm still figuring things out over here. :)
