13 Minutes Nominated for Paradox “Oscar” 2010!

I’m humbled beyond belief to report that 13 Minutes was recently nominated for one of the annual Paradox “Oscars” in the category of “Best Web-Site.” I was in ridiculously good company, and the competition was stiff. Comic Book Resources, Bleeding Cool, and 2000AD Online were also nominated, with CBR ultimately taking the win. The whole set of awards contains some very interesting selections, such as Rebekah Issacs (up against Kody Chamberlain!) in the “Most Promising Talent” category, or Frank Quitely going head to head with John Cassaday in the “Best Cover Artist” category, so be sure to check it out. This also serves as a great opportunity to give a quick shout out to our friends from across the pond at the Paradox Comics Group. The crew at Paradox posts tons of timely reviews that are well observed, articulate, and filled with lively opinions. It’s one of my daily web stops and is always a good read!

Thanks for the kind words Justin!! 13 Minutes may not be in the 'heavy hitter' league of comics websites, but it's the quality of the content that means it deserves to stand beside them.

Matt, you are an officer AND a gentleman! Haha!

Seriously, coming from a fellow reviewer, that means a lot. As they say, "it's an honor just to be nominated!"
