Justin Giampaoli @ Yesteryear Comics [Signing]

On Wednesday July 25, 2018, I’ll be signing copies of Rome West at Yesteryear Comics, which is hosting me for their next in-store signing. Rome West is a 112-page trade paperback published by Dark Horse, collecting the entire series, along with several pages of never-before-seen bonus material. It’s an alt-history take on the founding of the Americas that explores the premise “What if the Roman Empire came to the New World 1,000 years before Columbus?” as it follows the descendants of one family.

It’s co-written by me and New York Times Best Seller and multiple Eisner Award Nominee Brian Wood (Channel Zero, The Massive, Sword Daughter), with art by Andrea Mutti (Rebels, Port of Earth, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), colors by Lee Loughridge (Deadly Class, Batman, Stumptown), letters by John and Ryane Hill (Harley Quinn, Swamp Thing, Wednesday Comics), and cover art by Matt Taylor, who also did the cover for the San Diego Comic Con International 2018 Souvenir Book

I’ll be signing in the store from 9am to 3pm on July 25th, and will have some additional goodies to offer that I’ve worked on, like various trades and hardcovers of DMZ (DC/Vertigo), as well as free wooden nickels from the alt-history world of Rome West, and free Rome West prints which were exclusives offered at the recent Dark Horse signing held at San Diego Comic-Con. I hope to see you there! For more information, check out Facebook.com/YesteryearComics.

Rome West Out July 18th @ San Diego Comic Con!

The complete Rome West saga will now be out on July 18th, the opening day for San Diego Comic Con International! This 112-page TPB will also include some bonus materials never seen before, so we're glad to get this out into the world.

On Thursday July 19th, cover artist Matt Taylor and I will be signing on the Stranger Things stage at the Dark Horse booth (#2615) at San Diego Comic Con from 12:00pm to 12:45pm, so we hope to see you then.

I was also pleased to see that Rome West was placed on the Barnes & Nobles list for Best Comics & Graphic Novels of July 2018. You can see the full list and read a short blurb about the book here.
